ignoring the inner shadow. noting that a product that has a transparent bg becomes part of the block is a decent design element of a call out block. the call out text stands out more when the image isn’t such a huge focusthis one is cropped a bit but i like the dark bottom callout this is an oldie. a carousel layout where you see the next/prev slides. what I don’t really like about these anymore tho is as you scroll, you have to stop scrolling to interact. still, its an oldie but goodie designa different kind of page hero that is less image as a background focused. we can use layering and :before :after tricks to “reveal” part of an image.
